A team of engineers, not middlemen
Preskater is a team of six senior engineers based in Réunion. We design, build and run websites, applications and infrastructure for businesses on the island and in mainland France.
Our approach
We started Preskater after seeing the same pattern with client after client: projects delivered quickly but impossible to maintain, technical decisions imposed rather than explained, and nobody answering the phone once the invoice was paid. We work the other way round: few projects at a time, a small and experienced team, and a determination to stay accountable for what we deliver.
The team
A team of six engineers trained at EPITECH, working across front end, back end, infrastructure and mobile. That range avoids back-and-forth between suppliers and lets us settle technical questions quickly.
What we commit to
Telling you when it is not necessary
If your need can be met with an existing tool or a configuration change, we say so. Turning down a project that is badly framed costs less than rescuing it later.
Explaining our technical choices
Every architecture decision is explained to you in plain language, with its trade-offs. You should be able to defend it internally, even if you are not technical.
Delivering work you can take over
Documented code, open standards, no hidden dependencies: our goal is not to lock you in, but to make your system something you can pick up and run with.
Staying reachable after delivery
Going live is not the end of the job. We handle maintenance and future changes, with response times agreed in advance.
